Frequently asked questions
Where is RabTeem after I launch it?
RabTeem has no Dock icon and no main window. Look for the two-ring icon on the right side of the menu bar, next to your next meeting and its countdown. Click it to open your meetings.
RabTeem doesn’t show any meetings.
Check calendar access: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars and allow RabTeem.
Then open Settings → Calendars in RabTeem and make sure the calendars you want are switched on. All-day and declined events are hidden by default – turn them on in Settings → General.
A meeting is missing from the menu bar.
The menu bar shows today’s earliest meeting that hasn’t ended yet. If Show only meetings with an online link is on in Settings → Menu Bar, meetings without a link are left out of the menu bar (they still appear in the list).
Meetings open in the browser instead of the app.
In Settings → Joining, choose Native app for that service. The service’s app (such as Teams or Zoom) must be installed. If it doesn’t open within 3 seconds, RabTeem offers the browser.
I don’t get reminders.
Open System Settings → Notifications → RabTeem and allow notifications, ideally including Time Sensitive Notifications so they get through Focus. Choose when to be reminded in Settings → Notifications.
How do I join with the keyboard?
Press ⌃ ⌥ ⌘ J anywhere and RabTeem joins your next meeting. Change the shortcut in Settings → Shortcuts.
How do I change the look or the language?
Pick the graphical or minimal menu in Settings → Menu Bar. Choose the language (English, Czech or system) in Settings → General; it applies after restarting the app.
How do I start RabTeem at login?
Turn on Launch at login in Settings → General. If macOS asks for approval, allow RabTeem in System Settings → General → Login Items.
How do I uninstall RabTeem?
Quit the app (Quit in the panel) and drag RabTeem from the Applications folder to the Trash.
Privacy
RabTeem reads your calendars only on your Mac and sends nothing anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for details.
